Example engagement

A diagnosis leadership can act on.

Something is wrong, and nobody agrees on what to fix first. How Diagnose turns that into a short list in order of size, and a plan you keep either way.

What it should change.

Leadership has one list, in order: where revenue leaks, the one or two things to fix first, what each would take, and what to leave alone. The plan is yours whether or not we build any of it.

01The problem

Revenue is growing and the business feels harder to run. Every department has an explanation, and a number to support it. The last plan was a deck, and nobody opened it twice.

  • Three reports, no truth
  • No order to the list
  • A plan nobody could act on

02What we would look at first

The numbers, the systems, and the people who use them, together. Where an inquiry comes from and what happens to it. Which lines make money and which only make revenue. Where the same data is typed twice.

  • Pricing and margin, line by line
  • The sales process, from first call to signed
  • The systems, and where they disagree

03What you would have at the end

A written plan you could hand to anyone: the leaks in order of size, the fix for each, a price for each before you decide, and a twelve-month order of work. And a recorded walkthrough you can share with your team.

04What happens next

You decide. Build the first item with us, give it to your own team, or wait. We will say so if the answer is smaller than you expected.

Where it goes wrong

The part that usually goes wrong.

Every engagement has a part that fights back. This is the one we would plan for first.

A plan that depends on people you do not have. A list of twelve initiatives is not a plan. We would rather name two things your team can actually do this year, and say plainly what to leave alone.
